Liverpool Arrange a Private Jet to Fly Sadio Mane Back in Time for the Chelsea Encounter

Senegalese forward Sadio Mane could feature for Liverpool on Tuesday when they host Premier League Leaders Chelsea at the Anifield.

Liverpool’s owners, Fenway Sports Group, have arranged for the swift return of their current top scorer Sadio Mane after his country was knocked out of the African Cup of Nations.

They have arranged a private jet to fly Mane back as soon as possible to increase their attacking options as they prepare to face premier League leaders Chelsea on Tuesday.

The Reds haven’t been the same since Mane left on January 2nd for the African Cup of Nations. They have only won one game against lower league side Plymouth from the last eight.

In the 27 days Mane was with Senegal, Liverpool were knocked out of the EFL Cup by Mane’s former club, knocked out of the FA Cup by championship side Wolves and have fallen ten points behind leaders Chelsea on the Premier League table.

According to the daily Telegraph UK, Mane will take a private jet arranged by Liverpool’s owners and the indications are he will join the squad and at least be on the bench

They will have to first make fitness tests before deciding whether to use the player or risk injuring the player if he’s rushed back to action.
