Liberia national team Lone Star has neither gained nor lost ground in the latest FIFA rankings released on Thursday.
The rankings published in the world football governing body’s website puts Liberia at position 45 continentally and 152 globally, the previous position it held in the July 25th rankings.
Lone Star failed to add points despite winning 2022 World Cup qualifier against Sierra Leone who are ranked 16 places above Liberia.
Peter Butler’s coached side beat Leone Stars 3-2 on aggregate to qualify for the group stages of the World Cup qualifiers.
Senegal remains the top-ranked team in the continent, maintaining their 20th position while Tunisia comes second, nine places below Senegal.
Nigeria, who finished third in 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, are ranked 3rd in Africa and 34th in the world while African champions Algeria are fourth and 38th globally.
Djibouti were the biggest movers in the continent after collecting 17 points after they beat Eswatini 2-1 on aggregate in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
Belgium retained their crown of being the top-ranked team in the world while World Champions France come second with Brazil, England, and Portugal rounding off the top five respectively.
The biggest gainers in the rankings are Grenada who moved up 13 places while Nicaragua dropped 11 places to find themselves at 148th.
