Manchester City Send Nigerian Striker Olarenwaju Kayode on Loan to Shakhtar Donetsk

Manchester City have loaned Nigerian Striker, Olarenwaju Kayode “Larry” to Shakhtar Donetsk in the hope of securing a deal for midfielder, Fred.

After a stellar 16/17 season at Swiss outfit, Austria Wien, Kayode was signed by Manchester City at the start of the 2017/18 season and was immediately sent on loan to Spanish La Liga Side, Girona.

Shakhtar confirmed a deal for the 24-year-old Nigeria striker on their official website. “FC Shakhtar signed a deal with the Manchester City striker Olarenwaju Kayode. The loan agreement will be effective until the end of the 2017/18 season and includes the buyout option.”
