Masoud Juma will miss the club’s training camp for the next two weeks after testing positive of coronavirus.
Three JS Kabylie players tested positive in the last one week, including Juma’s forward partner Diabeche.
The Algeria club said Juma returned a positive result after the first phase of pre-season training ahead of 2020/21 season.
Juma confirmed he has tested positive for the deadly virus after Kabylie had stated earlier on Friday they had new positive results.
The Kenyan international announced his diagnosis in a statement of Facebook saying; “I will miss the second phase of Pre-season camp after the doctor informed me I tested positive for COVID- 19.

In the wake of the result, Kabylie cancelled Saturday morning’s training, while the club’s against unnamed local outfit in Mostaganem has been called off.
Juma sealed a three-year- contract with JS Kabylie in July 2019 but speculations are rife that he may be leaving the North African side.
Kabylie’s head coach Yamen Zelfani is reported to have submitted his name to the club administration in order to create a room for a new striker preferably an Arabic speaker.
Juma joined Kabylie on a free transfer after parting ways with Libyan side Al-Naser where he failed to make a single appearance for the club owing to political tension in the country.
The Isiolo-born striker has been a journeyman since leaving Kenyan Premier League side Kariobangi Sharks in 2018.
He has played for four clubs in the last three seasons including South Africa’s Supersport United and UAE’s Dibba Al Fujairah.
