Indicators show that Avram Grant will leave his position as the Black Stars Coach after AFCON next month.

Grant has been linked with job offers from China and Australia but when asked what his next move will be, Grant was not forthcoming.
Grant said, “I am happy with what I have achieved in my career. In my life I never plan. What will happen, will happen. Let’s see.”
His contract expires this year in February and Ghana Football Association is already in plans to find a replacement. Reports suggest Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojević, Fabio Lopez and Ibrahim Tanko are in contention as possible replacements.

The Uganda Cranes coach has been linked to the Black Stars. The 47-year-old popularly known as Micho, has also expressed interest in the job before and seems to know much about the Ghana team.
When asked about any possibility of replacing Grant at the helm of Ghana, ‘ Micho’ said,

Micho however, still has a running contract with Uganda’s Football Federation with FUFA President, Magogo stating that there is still interest in his services.
“We still have a contract with him and we are happy with what he has done so there is no need of changing.”
Fabio Lopez
Italian football manager, Fabio Lopez, is among the contenders. (sveriga.net)
The Italian has also been linked to the coaching job and is keen on taking up the mantle. The 43-year-old in an interview with Happy FM, a local radio station in Ghana said, “I am an Italian coach, I have coached six clubs, I have managed one national team.

Ibrahim Tanko
The former Borussia Dortmund and Ghana international turned football scout and manager has been rumored as the next replacement. (ghanasoccernet.com)
The Ex-Cameroon assistant coach Tanko was handed his maiden coaching job in 2011 as the assistant coach of Volke Finke at FC Köln, before joining the Indomitable Lions.
He has been a chief scout for Ghana and therefore deemed close to Ghana’s Football Association.
