Mtine Named New Young Africans CEO To Replace Senzo

Reigning Tanzania Premier League  champions Young Africans Sports Club have appointed Andre Mitne as the club’s Chief Executive Officer.

The Zambia administrator has replaced South African  Senzo Mazingiza who resigned from his position two  months ago after serving for two years.

Mtine expressed his delight at joining  Young Africans SC and he revealed what he plans to achieve at the club.

“It is an honour to work as CEO at this club which has tremendous history and is a big club which grew from nothing to something,” he said.

The former Roan United and Forest Rangers technical advisor once served as a member of Power Dynamos’ executive committee before joining Zesco United in the same capacity.

It’s worth noting that his father, Mr. Tom Mtine, had served as president of FAZ in the seventies and eighties and at the highest levels of African football as an executive committee member of the Confederation of African Football, even challenging Issa Hayatou for the presidency in 1988.
