Muktar Edris Vs Mo Farah: Who Will Walk Away with the Diamond League Trophy?

Mo Farah will race Ethiopia’s Muktar Edris on Thursday (August 24) for the Diamond League Trophy in Zurich days after the Ethiopian dethroned him in London during the World Championships.

The pair has dominated the 3000m and 5000m this season with Farah winning in Eugene and Edris winning in Paris and Lausanne, before pipping Farah to gold in London.

Thursday will be the day to witness one of the greatest battles in long distance running as the world looks forward to seeing if Farah can take revenge and win his crown back, or whether Edris will become the new king.

Athletes qualified for the finals by scoring points during the 12 other Diamond League meetings this summer and will now battle for the Diamond Trophy and US$50,000 winner’s prize in each event.
