Muzamir Mutyaba has penned down an emotional farewell message to KCCA FC after he parted ways with the Ugandan club.
Last week, KCCA confirmed the departure of seven players, including Mutyaba, whose contracts came to end on June 30.
The 26-year-old had been training on his own before it was confirmed that he is now officially a free agent, which gives him an opportunity to complete the long awaited move to Kenyan Premier League giants AFC Leopards.
Taking via his social media, the former SC Victoria University star penned a farewell letter to the Kasasiro Boys, expressing his gratitude for all the support he received during his time with the Lugogo outfit.
“After 6 years I say goodbye to this beautiful club. Ever since I donned the KCCA FC jersey, I felt at home,” wrote Mutyaba.
“The club has played a huge development in me as a player and human being. Thank you to everyone at the club.
“To the special memories we share it’s time to say goodbye to the club, media, coaching and non coaching stuff, fans and well-wishers you will still hold a special place in my heart.
“It’s time to follow the team as a fan maybe in the future we will meet again. Thank you all.”
Mutyaba joined KCCA from SC Victoria University in 2015 and has made several appearances for the club in the past five seasons that have culminated in three league trophies, two Uganda Cups and Cecafa Kagame Cup winners’ medal in 2019.
