Nigelec Announce Free Acess To Fans For CAF Champions League Clash

ASN Nigelec are looking to fill up Stade  General Seyni Kountche this weekend as they host  Raja Casablanca, and are offering free entry to supporters.

The Nigerien champions host the Moroccans on Saturday afternoon as they look to make use of home advantage to get a result in the first leg of the second preliminary round, with the club hoping to secure their spot in the first ever group stages appearance.

In order to get as many people  in the stadium as possible, Nigelec revealed they will give free entry to any fan that arrives at the stadium wearing blue and red.

Nigelec board in a statement argued the nation to turn out in their numbers to support the Niamey club on Saturday.

“We argue all soccer loving fans in Niger to come and fill Stade  General Seyni Kountche and show support to Nigelec .It has been a long journey for the team and we intend to go all the way, not only for the club’s sake but restore our country’s pride.”

Niger national team  fans  association president Abdou Raffa also urged his members to turn up in large numbers and support the club when they take on Raja Casablanca.

“We felt necessary, given our position as the Mena Supporters Association, to support the club in this feat. It’s our mission and its our role and a duty for us all,” he said during fans mobilization.

“It’s a national issues and it concerns Niger, so we are called upon to support AS Nigelec and to accompany them in victory.”

Nigelec made to second round after eliminating Guinean side SOAR Academy 2-1 on aggregate with Boubacar Djibrill Goumey netting a brace in the first leg that was played in Niamey.

As part of the excitement for the match‚ Nigelec have lined up entertainment to be provided by various artists from Niamey.
