Nigerian Forward Makes Turkish Loan Deal Permanent

The Recep Tayyip Erdogan grounds will be home to Nigerian forward Samuel Eduok for the next three seasons after signing a three-year deal with Turkish Super Lig’s Kasımpaşa S.K.

Eduok was loaned out to Kasımpaşa last season but impressed enough to be offered a permanent contract.

His former club and Tunisian champions Esperance Du Tunis, was initially adamant to retain the 23-year-old at the end of his loan spell and chose to take a different stance after Kasimpasa slapped a €1.25m offer, one that chairman Hamdi Meddeb could not resist.

Negotiations weren’t a prolonged affair as first feared, with both sides announcing the completion of his transfer earlier this week.

Eduok featured 29 times scoring for the Super Lig side four goals.
