Petro du Luanda will lock horns with Wydad Casablanca in the 2021/2022 CAF Champions League on Saturday.
The semi-final first-leg match will be played at the Stadio 11 de Novembro in the Angolan city of Luanda.
Kick-off is at 13h00 GMT.
Petro, who are playing in the semifinals for the first time since 2001, booked their place in the last four after tournament favorites Mamelodi Sundowns on a 3-2 aggregate.
The Angolan side had won the first leg of the quarter-final 2-1 at home before forcing a 1-1 draw in the second-leg clash in Pretoria a fortnight ago.
Alexandre Santos, the Petro head coach, is likely to unleash hard-working forward Tiago Azulao against Wydad.
The Brazilian forward is currently the top scorer in the Champions League with six goals, including his home and away strikes against Sundowns in the quarters.
Meanwhile, Wydad, who won this tournament in 2017, advanced to the semi-finals after defeating Algerian side CR Belouizdad 1-0 on aggregate.
The quarter-final tie had ended in a 1-1 draw on aggregate after Wydad defeated the defending Belouizdad 1-0 in the first-leg clash in Algiers a fortnight ago.
Wydad coach Walid Regragui will look to exciting forward Yahya Jarbane to lead the team’s attack.
The striker has three goals to his name and his presence is once again expected to be of importance for the Moroccans especially as they need a crucial away goal to keep their dreams of a third title alive.
Both sides have met six times before and were also in the same group during the 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons, when Wydad won three of their four encounters, the other ending in a draw.
The winner on aggregate between Petro du Luanda and Wydad Casablanca will face off with either Algeria side ES Setif or Egyptian giants Al Ahly in the final.
