Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly plotting a new and improved bid for AC Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer.
As was previously reported, PSG were keen on the Algerian international but were warded off by Milan’s decision not to sell the player.
But following the news that PSG are resigned to losing their midfield kingpin Marco Verrati, the talk of a move for the 22-year-old has once again erupted.
Furthermore, French football publication Le10 Sports indicates the French champions are ready to submit a €30 million offer for the former Les Bleuets star.
Insiders have informed another publication FootMercato that PSG are confident of landing the midfielder, who has also has attracted the interest of English Premier League side, Manchester City.
Bennacer has made 23 competitive appearances for Milan this season, contributing one assist, but above all quickly became a key figure in their midfield.
The youngster midfielder was named as the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations Player of the Tournament after a string of solid performances that helped his country emerge Africa champions although he never found the net throughout the competition.
PSG currently boasts two African stars on their books in Cameroon’s Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Senegalese midfielder Idrissa Gueye.
