Dstv Premiership side SuperSport United have signed Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Ricardo Goss on a two-year-loan.
The 28-year-old, former South Africa youth international, joined the Brazilians in 2020 from now defucant outfit Bidvest Wits .
He reunites with his former coach Gavin Hunt after spending together two seasons before joining Sundowns where he failed to compete with Denis Onyango, Kennedy Mweene as well as Reyaad Pieterse.
“I am very excited to join SuperSport United and I have been welcomed warmly by the boys. There are familiar faces in the camp, which made it easier for me to settle in the team,” said Goss after his unveiling.

On his part, SuperSport United CEO “Stan Matthews said ;“We are very happy to welcome Ricardo to the club for the next two seasons.
“Our Head Coach Gavin Hunt has worked with Ricardo extensively and rates him very highly. We look forward to him contributing to success on the field for us and for him to then be challenging for a place in Bafana Bafana again.”
Goss made a name for himself at Golden Arrows where he was coached by current senior team coach Manqoba Mngqithi.
He then went to the Glad Africa Championship side Real Kings. Goss has been part of AmaGlug-Glug and the senior national team.
