RS Berkane Complete Signing Of Ugandan Striker

Renaissance Sportive (RS) de Berkane have completed the signing of Ugandan striker Patrick Kaddu from Uganda Premier League side KCCA FC.

The 23-year-old has joined the Moroccan outfit on a reported four-year contract and he is expected to fit immediately into the side as the new season comes knocking.

KCCA took to social media to confirm that a deal had been reached with Berkane, although neither side said anything about the terms of the contract or the fee.

“KCCA would like to confirm that the club has agreed to terms with RS Berkane for the transfer of Kaddu Henry Patrick, pending completion of the necessary paperwork,” reads the post.

RS Berkane were impressed by the forward at the recently concluded 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt where he scored in Uganda’s 2-0 win over DR Congo in the group stages.

The former Maroons sharpshooter netted in the 14th minute to break the deadlock before Emmanuel Okwi doubled the Pearl’s lead in the second half.

His new side finished the Moroccan Botola Pro League at a distant 6^th position with 39 points from 30 games and also emerged runners up in the CAF Confederation Cup after falling to Egyptian giants Zamalek FC.
