Liverpool forward Sadio Mane is closing in on an Anfield exit and could be set to join Bayern Munich, according to French outlet L’Equipe.
The Senegalese hinted on his potential move this week when he claimed that he will reveal his future plans after the Champions League final this weekend.
The 30-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from Liverpool for the past few days and it now known that Bayern is set to table an offer of €30 million (£25 million).
Mane is entering the final year of his contract at Anfield and it seems Bayern are set to capture his signature ahead of PSG.
“I am fully focused on Saturday’s game, that is the answer I must give before the final. But come back to me on Saturday and I will give you the best answer you want to hear, for sure. It’s special. I will give you all you want to hear then,” Mane said on Friday.
“I love what I am doing and I sacrifice myself all the time. I am working hard every single day on the pitch and in the gym and I get better and better, that’s the most important. I am trying my best to help the team.”
The African Footballer of the Year 2019 , Mane joined Liverpool seven years ago for a fee of £34m.
Since then he has gone on to make 196 appearances in all competitions for Jurgen Klopp’s side, scoring 90 goals.
Should Mane move on, there’s no doubt that he’d be a major loss for Liverpool in their quest to add more trophies next season.
