Sadio Mane Suffers World Cup Injury Scare

Bayern Munich and Senegal attacker Sadio Mane has suffered an World Cup injury scare after limping off during last night’s Bundesliga clash against Werder Bremen.

The 30-year-old limped off the pitch during the first-half of the encounter and was replaced by Leroy Sane with a suspected leg injury.

Despite not being able to continue with the game, Mane appeared to be walking comfortably as he left the field.

Bayern manager Julian Nagelsmann explained the striker situation after the match, indicating that an x-ray will be performed by team medics.

“He’ll have to have an X-ray to see what’s happened,” said Nagelsmann.
