Salah’s Scores Lone Goal in Liverpool’s Win Over Huddersfield

After helping the Pharaohs of Egypt to qualify for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, Mohamed Salah scored the lone goal as Liverpool pinned Huddersfield  1-0 on Saturday at Anfield.

It was a clinical finish from  the Egyptian forward after connecting Xherdan Shaqiri’s assist 24 minutes  into the game to collect all three points for the Reds.

The goal was Salah’s fourth goal out of nine appearances in the new English Premier League season. He lastly registered a goal to his credit on September 22, in Liverpool’s 3-0 victory over Southampton at Anfield.

The 26-year-old forward in his post-match reaction said he is satisfied to get back on the scoring path with the only goal in yesterday’s game, but said it is more vital that the Reds secured all three points.
“I’m not worried about my form as long as I’m helping the team get points I don’t worry.

he said.

The result increased the Reds’ tally to 23 points-leveled with table leaders Manchester City who are atop on goal difference.
