Senegal Will Come Back Stronger – Koulibaly

Napoli star defender, Kalidou Koulibaly believes Senegal will come back stronger than ever.

The Teranga Lions bowed out of 2017 Gabon AFCON after losing to Cameroon on penalties in the quarter-finals.

Aliou Cisse’s team was dubbed championship favorite’s and had arguably the best attack in the Gabon finals.

Senegal started off the campaign with an impeccable record, topping group B prior to matters ending in a heartbreak for the West African nation in the quarterfinal.

But 25-year-old Koulibaly is convinced that the 2002 Nations Cup finalists will be in better form come 2019 when the Indomitable Lions host the event.

“I am happy to have played my first CAN with the Lions of the Teranga. It was with great pride that I wore this jersey alongside my Senegalese brothers,” the former France U-20 international said on his Twitter account.
