Kevin Owusu, who was brilliant for Zanaco, also had a chance to put his side ahead in the 14th minute, but his effort was stopped by goalkeeper, Benedict Haule.

Zanaco gained the attacking momentum, as Obina Chisala came close to scoring an equalizer with a free header at the back post just before the half-time break that sailed wide.
The start of the second 45 saw Zanaco playing more enterprising football and they began creating some chances of their own.
Two minutes after the restart Abraham Siankombo tried his luck from long range, but the Bankers man saw his effort sail over the crossbar.
In the 51st minute Zanaco had their best chance to equalise as a corner-kick was met by Mwila Phiri, but his header went inches over the target.
Three minutes later and Singida mounted their first attack of the second stanza as a left wing cross from Shafiq Batambuze was met by Biemes Corono, but the midfielder volleyed the ball over the target from eight-yards out.
The game lost a bit of its pace after that and chances on goal became scarce.
Frederico was the next player to have a decent effort on goal in the 75th minute, but he saw his shot from just inside the box well-saved by the keeper.
A minute later and Zanaco managed their first effort on target as Owusu headed a left wing cross goalwards, but Haule was on hand to make his first save of the match.
