SønderjyskE and Uganda’s Emmanuel Okwi’s Pre-maturely End Contract

SønderjyskE and Emmanuel Okwi by mutual agreement, decided to terminate the striker’s contract three and a half years early.

The club’s sports manager, Hans Jørgen Haysen, said on the club’s official website, “Okwi has not received much playing time with us, and the prospect of more playing time has not improved.

Okwi has made only four appearances since the beginning of the season, two of which he started against midtjylland and FC Copenhagen and also played two matches in the cup, where he scored two goals.

The 24-year-old striker signed a 5-year deal with the club on 10^th July 2015 which was initially to expire in 2020.
