South Africa have rescheduled their proposed friendly match against Zambia before their two back-to-back 2021 Africa Cup of Nation qualifiers against Sao Tome, Ducor Sports can report.
The friendly match which was schedule to come off on October 11 in Johannesburg has been scheduled to October 13.
South Africa will play their first friendly away Namibia on October 8 at the Independence Stadium in Windhoek before travelling back to face the Chipolopolo three days later at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium in Rustenburg.
Bafana Bafana coach Molefi Nteski will use the opportunity to closely observe his squad which he is expected to announce at South Africa Football Association National Executive meeting coming Saturday, 19 September 2020 at SAFA House.
South Africa will welcome Sao Tome at FNB Stadium on November 13 before proceeding to the West Africa country in the return game three days later.
Nteski’s men will then take on Ghana at FNB Stadium on March 25,2021 before completing the Nations Cup programme away to Sudan in Khartoum on March 30 next year.
South Africa are currently placed second on Group C led by Ghana while Sudan are in position three with Sao Tome anchoring the standings.
