South Africa’s Kevin Anderson Loses Citi Open Final

South African tennis player Kevin Anderson lost to 20-year old Alexander Zverev 4-6, 4-6 in the final of the Citi Open at Rock Creek Park Tennis Center.

Anderson was sent off the court in 69 minutes but had initially put up a strong start which saw him send top-seeded Dominic Thiem, home on Thursday.

The No.15 seed had played well to reach the final, a first since 2015, but instead ended up playing catch-up with the 20-year-old German.
