Sow Denies Spat with Senegalese Football Boss Over Treatment of Coach Cisse

Senegal FA’s deputy Abdoulaye Sow has denied having a conflict with football boss Augustine Senghore.

Senegal FA’s deputy Abdoulaye Sow has denied having a conflict with football boss Augustine Senghore, Ducor Sports understands.

The two were reported to have had severe differences regarding the treatment of national team gaffer Aliou Cisse.

The spat is believed to have occurred this week Monday during a top-level meeting in which the assessment of The Taranga Lions performance in the recently concluded Africa Cup of Nations topped discussions.

The claims made the rounds on traditional tabloids prompting a clarification from Sow.

“It’s impossible that we are at loggerheads. In any meeting, there are differences. The proof, at the end of the meeting, we wrote together, until two or three o’clock in the morning, the final text (of the national team and coach). So we are not at loggerheads, “he said.

This is not the first time the two supremos are reported to have fallen out with Senghore at one time criticised by his understudy for his absence during the World Cup U-17 draws.
