Swimming World Cup: Chad Le Clos Scoops Double Gold

South African swimmer Chad Le Clos, came from behind on the last 50 to win gold in the 200m freestyle at the FINA Airweave Swimming World Cup 2017 in Moscow.

The 25-year-old finished in 1:42.54 taking Gold ahead of Russian, Aleksandr Krasnykh who came in second in 1:42.69. The South African’s day got better when he later won the 100m Butterfly in 49.13 ahead of Great Britain’s Adam Barrret (49.45).

The wins come a week after scooping a gold medal in Budapest during the World Championships.
