Tanzania will welcome Democratic Republic of Congo in the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualification Group J match on Thursday.
Kick-off is at 15h00 CAT.
The encounter is set to take place at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in the capital city of Tanzania, Dar es Salaam.
The Taifa Stars beat Benin 1-0 in their previous Group J match played in Cotonou last month.
The win placed Tanzania on top of table with seven points from four matches, the same number of points as second-placed Benin, but they have a better goal aggregate.
Tanzania are two points ahead of DR Congo who are placed third on the group while Madagascar are at the bottom with two matches left.
Kim Poulsen, the Taifa Stars coach is expected to mastermind a victory of Taifa Stars at home.
The East Africans kicked off their campaign with a 1-1 away draw against DR Congo, returned home to beat Madagascar 3-2, lost 1-0 against Benin but recovered to beat them 1-0 away.
Meanwhile, DR Congo were narrowly defeated 1-0 by Madagascar in their last Group J encounter at home last month.
But the Leopards still remain in contention if they win their remaining two matches and hope that the leading pack loses theirs.
DR Congo started their campaign with a 1-1 draw against Tanzania, drew 1-1 against Benin, beat Madagascar 2-0 before losing 1-0 away to Madagascar in the reverse fixture.
The Leopards coach Hector Cuper will be looking to guide his side to victory over Tanzania and edge closer to qualifying to the next round of the qualifiers.
