Tottenham Hotspur’s midfielder Nabil Bentaleb has completed a permanent four-year transfer to Germany side FC Schalke 04.
The Algerian midfielder joined FC Schalke 04 on a season loan from the Spurs but will now stay with the Bundesliga side after putting on a couple of impressive performances.
Bantaleb has greatly improved since joining Schalke scoring four goals, while creating three in 20 appearances despite dropping out of Mauricio Pochettino’s plans at White Hart Lane.
“Even when I came to Schalke in the summer, it was my goal to play here as often as possible and convince the club to commit myself permanently,” Bentaleb told Schalke’s website.
“The fact that this has now worked out and everything is perfect, feels great.”

The 22-year-old joins the Bundesliga outfit at an undisclosed fee with a contract running up-to 2021.
Bentaleb made his Premier League debut on 22nd December 2013 against Southampton FC with the Spurs as a teenager.
He went on to amass a further 45 appearances in England’s top division, five in the FA and the twelve in Europa. He has so far earned 24 caps for Algeria scoring four goals and has World Cup experience under his belt.
The 22-year-old has proved he has potential and skill to grow into a better player and with enough playing time, this move is good for his personal growth.
