The 29-year-old is demanding one million Tunisian dinars he claims is owed to him by current employers CS Sfaxien.

Valued €1m in the transfer market, Marzouki is demanding to be paid a million dinars, translating to over US$349,000.

Narrating their version of events, Sfaxien claim the player has been paid all his dues and are seeking compensation for damages.

The case has been dragging on for months but the North African country’s FA said they would deliver their verdict on 4th January in news coming as a huge sigh of relief for Alaeddine.

Marzouki was the Tunisian league’s highest goal-poacher in the 2017/18 season.
