Turkish Club Monitoring Sierra Leone Goal-getter Bandu

Mustapaha Bandu has emerged as a surprise target for Turkish Super Lig outfit Trabzonspor.

Trabzonspor are five points behind unlikely league leaders Sivassspor and are keen to keep the momentum in the title race.

To see that craving is pursued, coach Cimsir Huseyin feels one more addition in his strike force will do the trick.

Bandu wasn’t top on their wish-list but following careful analysis of game statistics notwithstanding- the combined twelve goals he has scored in two seasons- the 22-year-old has been elevated to a priority transfer buy.

Owing to latest interest in him, the West African who made the jump from the English lower division to Danish premier league side AGF, could finally leave the Scandinavian nation after three seasons there.

However, there is a lingering question of whether Trabzonspor will be willing to accept AGF’s two million euros fee.

Bandu’s current deal runs until June 2021 and he is understood to be receptive to the idea of swapping clubs.
