Algeria giants Paradou AC on Tuesday unveiled former Kampala City Council Authority (KCCA FC) striker Allan Okello.

Paradou announced the acquisition of the Ugandan international on their club website, with a photo of 19-year-old donning the team’s home kit.

KCCA have reportedly pocketed $200,000 in the deal, which brings to an end the attacker’s five-year stint with Ugandan champions.

Paradou played for the Kasasiro Boys in a CAF Confederation Cup last year and it is then that the Algerian club developed interest on the forward.

Okello joined KCCA Soccer Academy in 2015 and he played in the FUFA Juniors League for two years before being promoted to the senior side.

The left-footed striker made his debut for KCCA FC senior team on 27th February 2017 at the age of sixteen and endeared himself to the club’s fans, with his performance and demeanour on and off the pitch.

At the time of his departure, Okello was the club’s top scorer in the Uganda Premier League with six goals in the 10 games he played in the first round of the 2019/2020 season.
