Vincent Kompany “Plotting” to Sign DR Congo’s Mbokani to Solve Anderlecht’s Striker Woes

Vincent Kompany, ex-Manchester City centre-back now player-coach at Anderlecht, is reportedly keen to sign Dieumerci Mbokani.

Multiple-time Belgian Premier League champions Anderlecht have been experiencing a decline in recent seasons before their latest return to winning ways with three straight wins, one of which ended in an emphatic 7-0 romping.

However, there is concern over the side’s scoring abilities with Englishman Kemar Roofe being the team’s top scorer with six goals.

Antwerp risk losing him on a free when that time comes, a presented chance, reports in Brussels say, Kompany is willing to cash in on the situation to sanction the attacker’s return to Anderlecht.
