A promoter in Senegal is lining up pairing Ama Balde against Siteu.
The proposed duel, considered a must-watch, is expected to rake up revenue for the bout organizers via the lucrative pay-per-view, newly introduced into the Senegalese arena.
Ama Balde is on an impressive run of five victories since 2013 beginning with the thunderous win over a much-fancied Malick Niang.
He’d gone on to spank the likes of Zoss –now retired – A-list star Tapha Tine then Gouye Gui in the 2015 TNT four-man tournament.
The Pikine-based wrestler, now ranked an A-list wrestler, is coming on the back of triumph over Papa Sowe of Dakar-based Club Fass, an understudy to Gris Bordeaux whom he is also heavily linked to do battle with this season.
Analysts give a 70 percent rating to his proposed meeting with the latter, though his fight with Siteu now seems the dominant topic on the lips of the sport’s enthusiasts, prompting fight promoter Dieye to add the duel to his to-do-list.
In the wake of these rumors, one of the two wrestlers is believed to have in fact received an advance payment of over 70 million CFA.
If all goes ahead as planned, Siteu will be going into the duel on the heels of a defeat from Gouye Gui last year.
