Tanzania Mainland Premier League giants Yanga have secured Stephane Aziz Ki from ASEC Mimosas on a pre-contract for the next season.

“We are done with him  and now he is our player for next season. It was not an easy task once again GSM (the club sponsors) have achieved a great signing for next season, ” Mwanaspoti quoted  GSM official, Hersi Said.

Ducor Sports understands that Simba Sports Club were the first team from Africa to make their interest known last year but the player is said to have rebuffed their advances.

It’s been suggested the five-time capped Burkinabe who’s plied his trade in his homeland, Cyprus and Ivory Coast, was attracted to the prospect of living in Tanzania and challenging for the CAF Champions League.

He is apparently due to become a direct replacement for his countryman Burkinabe, Yacouba Sogne who has made few league appearance this season.
