The Super League defending champions have wished their long serving (Assistant) coach well and are set to name a new coach.
Despite Chembo not announcing his next stop, Ducor Sports understands he is joining big spenders Buildcon who recently parted company with Italian trainer Arena Guilglemo.
Chembo took over as Zesco United interim coach last season when Zlatko Krympotic was put on leave.
Despite Chembo guiding the team to the 2017 MTN/FAZ Super League title and most recently master minding Zesco United’s progression to the group stages of the CAF champions league by beating Asec Mimosas two goals to one away in Abidjan, the management failed to give him the job on permanent basis.
According Ducor Sports sources in Ndola, George Lwandamina maybe on his way back to Levy Mwanawasa stadium and that’s the reason they were reluctant to give Chembo the nod for the top job.
