Zimbabwe international and Yeni Malatyaspor defender Teenage Hadebe is delighted to be back after three weeks out attending to immigration issues.
Hadebe made a successful return to action on Wednesday after he fell victim of his country’s inability to produce passports.
The 24-year-old, who missed two high-profile league matches, clocked 90 minutes as his club won 3-1 over Keçiörengücü in the Turkish Cup.
After the game, the former Kaizer Chiefs defender expressed his delight at the return, stating that the passport delay is not something that he wanted to experience again.
“I’m just glad to be back with my team, the issue with the passport was now frustrating me. But I’m just glad everything is okay now and it’s good to be back,” he said.

It took the intervention of Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) for Hadebe to be issued with a new passport after the old one ran out of pages.
This occurred after the Warriors trip to Lusaka where they played in a 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Zambia.
Hadebe joined Malatyaspor from Amakhosi in July after impressing the Turkish club during 2019 Africa Cup of Nations finals in Egypt.
He had only spent two seasons at the Naturena whom he joined from Zimbabwe top-flight club Chicken Inn.
Hadebe had joined Chiefs ahead of the 2017/18 season but injuries saw his game time limited as he made just 26 league appearances for the club.
